He would smile to both of them, to Dominic because he stayed; to K’Resh, as he could teach a Klingon his favorite sport. Lend back a new bow to Dom, Kai walked toward the CE and adjusted her body shape into the correct position:
“You need to keep the arm straight and the shoulder relaxed, okey? Also, let the bow go down when you shoot, and the stretching hand pass by your ear.”
Took a bow, cocked an arrow, Kai made a demonstration, taking down another little creature that was running in the bushes. The execution was like butter.
“You may try.” Told to K’Resh, deeply sighing and awaiting the attempt of the Lieutenant.

Cadet Kai O. Kingstone - Scientist

K’Resh carefully studied Kingstone as he performed his shot with pinpoint accuracy again. She was impressed that a scientist showed such skill in combat. “You are quite an accomplished warrior Cadet,” she nodded with a slight head bow of respect. She raised her own bow, remembering the instructions Kingstone had given her, and aimed at a slightly more stationary target to start with. It wasn’t often that she saw combat these days and she missed the adrenaline of hunting down a target. As she put all her focus on the small creature washing it’s paw on a log, she released the string and felt a rush of adrenaline as the arrow whistled past her ear and hit the creature square between the eyes. She let out a roar of victory, her face beaming, as she felt her pulse quicken with excitement. “I can see why you enjoy this Cadet!” she laughed as she pulled out another arrow and looked for her next target.

As Kingstone showed K’Resh, Torias found it ironic that a human was teaching a Klingon about weapons. He couldn’t help but let off a smile. “Well, cadet, your form is good. I’ll let you show the Lieutenant and I’ll help out Cadet Corvax,” he said as he noticed Corvax getting more nervous. He had been watching both the cadets carefully and studying them to see what level they were already at with firearms for their target practice sessions. Noticing that Corvax’s nerves were getting to him, he joined the cadet right behind him and pulled out his own bow to demonstrate. “So, first stay relaxed. Pull back slowly, right back to just behind your ear” he said as he pulled back his bow as he instructed, letting himself breathe slowly and letting his eyes pick out a target. Noticing one, he aimed a little ahead, accounting for distance travelled by the arrow as he released one hitting the small rat-like target that was running around the holodeck. “Just like that,” he said with a smile. “Let’s see what you’ve got, and I’ll give you some pointers,” he said, turning to corvax with a smile.

As Corvax set up his shot, Simon stood just behind him to keep an eye on his form. “Just relax, lower the shoulders,” he said, pushing gently down so that Corvax would feel his arms less tense and more relaxed. “Pull back, and hold. Don’t release until you have marked your target, think about speed of the target, and predict where it will be based on the distance the arrow has to travel,” he said as he assisted the Corvax, helping him pull the string back from behind. Once Paron was happy with the cadets position and aim, he let go and left it in the hands of the cadet, noticing one of his moving targets coming through a tree line.

Pointing it out so that Paron’s arm was just within Corvax’s line of sight, he pointed the cadet in the right direction. “And when your ready, release,” he said and watched with intent as he watched the doctor that had managed to impress him in the stationary range that Kingstone set up.

Dominic had almost instantly relaxed as he had listened to his instructions carefully he had relaxed when he felt pressure on his shoulders allowing them to relax like paron told him to,he had kept his breathing nice and calm,and steady. As Dominic bulled back the string of the bow he relaxed and lowered his arms he saw the target he needed to hit he had watched the target move analyzing the distance and the best course of action to take,Dominic bit his lip as he waited for the proper moment. When Dominic was confident enough he released the arrow watching it make a satisfying sound when it hit the target.

Dominic smiled seeing he had successfully hit his target he had turned looking at paron grinning from ear to ear about his success, “I did it I hit the target I did everything just like you said and I hit the target ” He said smiling looking down shyly but still had his goofy smile plastered on his face

Putting her own bow down, K’Resh gave Corvax a hearty clap. “You are a fast learner Cadet and you have the heart of a warrior,” she grinned as she leaned in a bit closer and added quietly in encouragement, “even if you haven’t quite found it yet!”

“Indeed you are,” Paron smiled as he complimented Corvax. “Your doing a good job, and these aren’t easy things to hit,” he added. “Doesn’t matter whether your human, klingon, trill, or bajoran - our ancestors used to hunt for food this way. It’s in our instincts, of course - we’ve come a long way since then, using phasers today. It’s always a good idea to study the past, so we can appreciate the present. Now we have these,” he lectured, tapping on the side of his belt where his phaser is located. “Much easier to use, but an appreciation for the old makes these feel even more useful - you can shoot an arrow which is easily affected by wind and gravity, shooting a phaser is much easier,” he commented, “This little activity won’t get you out of your target practice sessions later, though, so don’t even bother asking,” Paron concluded with a cheeky grin.

Dominic smiled listening to Paron as he spoke. Dominic’s nervousness and anxiety was completely washed away he was actually enjoying himself around these three crew members he was glad he came to join the little archery session. When Dominic heard the comment he playfully pouted but could help but smile because he was just so relaxed and happy around them. “But what if I’m hungry?” He asked playfully

“If ya are hungry,” was telling to the young specializer “I guess you should take a dessert and offer it to Mr. Paron.” Giggled.
The time flew fast, maybe it was the fact that the holodeck made everything more magical, and fatigue was already to take on Kai’s shoulders and arms. Teaching K’Resh was fun, and seeing Dominic helped my Lieutenant Paron was such a relief; But he would exclaim to feel dizziness everywhere in the upper body parts and said to them: “I guess I’m lack in training and endurance. Last time I practiced was 2 months ago” Then after a brief pause, where he laid down his bow on the holodeck wall, he proposed to them “Would you all mind If I offer a drink at the Nine-Forward?”
