Paron smiled as he saw the cadet’s shot hit the small moving target that represented a rodent, “impressive, cadet” he said just as the chief engineer entered the room. “Lieutenant, I was just saying something similar, sir” Paron smiled towards the klingon seeing the pips that denoted his higher rank. He had yet to be introduced to this officer, but from the uniform and the race, worked out who it was from the security logs he had read. “I don’t think we have yet been introduced, Lieutenant Torias Paron, chief of security,” he said in a friendly tone. His frame betraying that he was definitely physically fit for the role, even if his friendly tone seemed a little out of place in such a position. “I would guess your our new chief engineer?” he asked, rhetorically. It was his job to know who was supposed to be on board the Endeavor, and it was obvious he already knew the answer to the question.

K’Resh raised an eyebrow and nodded. “A very astute observation Lt…” she replied with a slight hint of sarcasm as she shook his hand. She took a quick look at him to try and gauge his prowess as a warrior, she assumed he had at least some as the Chief of Security. Satisfied that he seemed adequate she picked up a spare bow and examined it carefully. “A well constructed weapon…” she concluded, “however, I prefer to see the whites of my enemy’s eyes…” she added with a spark of Klingon fire in her eyes.

Dominic stood off to the side mainly watching and learning from the other two. Dominic was a very visual learner he had to carefully watch the movement in order to understand it

When Lieutenant K’Resh entered the holodeck, Kai was surprised about her presence and her smile. It was the first time that saw a Klingon smiling.
Immediately he stood at ease, put in his back the bow and said: “Welcome Lieutenant!”
Of course he smirked a bit for the anomalous smile and though “amazing”.

K’Resh nodded and gave the Cadet a firm handshake. “Thank you Cadet, you are an excellent marksman, is this your preferred weapon?” she asked curiously. Although they had a host of modern weaponry to choose from, she admired the fact that he had chosen something more traditional.

Lt K’Resh (CE)

Surprised by the hand shake he would tell to K’Resh:
“Yes, Ma’am. In my family, archery is a tradition and all members shall learn how to shoot with a bow. I would take my personal bow and go with that on missions, but I know it can’t be done.”
Traditional weapons such bows and swords always fascinated the young cadet, who was good with swords and rapiers. Although, he had lack of familiarity with most Federation weapons and knew to manage only the Type II phaser with ease. The necessary to be graduated.
“Want to join us, Lieutenant? I know Klingons are hunters.” Asked his superior Klingon.

K’Resh’s eyes lit up as she gave him another slap on the back. “Excellent Cadet! I never miss the chance to hone my skills!” she grinned as she picked up a spare bow and tested the string.”I am not familiar with this weapon however, I would be honored if you would teach me…” she said as she peered at the bow.

Dominic stood there and bit his lip”hey.....um.....i-ill see you guys.” He said as he put the archery stuff away he was using. He figured he let them just have some fun

Simon heard the nervousness in the cadet’s voice and walked over to corvax. He asked with a friendly tone “everything OK, cadet?”

“I…I just figured I’d let you 3 get to know each other better…”said Dominic as he bit his lip lip looking away from lieutenant paron “I don’t want to interfere or something…”

K’Resh came over to join the pair and shook her head. “Cadet, a comrade does not walk off the battlefield on his team,” she said sternly but then noticed the nervousness of the young doctor. “I too am new to this sport, perhaps we could learn together?” she asked with a much gentler tone than one normally heard from a Klingon. Her time spent with humans had often been challenging but it had mellowed her a little.

Dominic jumped suddenly at the voice of the Klingon instantly shutting down his actions at first until he heard the calming tone from her then nodded at her question”ok.......I’ll stay. I was only going to let you have your share of being with them”

He would smile to both of them, to Dominic because he stayed; to K’Resh, as he could teach a Klingon his favorite sport. Lend back a new bow to Dom, Kai walked toward the CE and adjusted her body shape into the correct position:
“You need to keep the arm straight and the shoulder relaxed, okey? Also, let the bow go down when you shoot, and the stretching hand pass by your ear.”
Took a bow, cocked an arrow, Kai made a demonstration, taking down another little creature that was running in the bushes. The execution was like butter.
“You may try.” Told to K’Resh, deeply sighing and awaiting the attempt of the Lieutenant.

As Kingstone showed K’Resh, Torias found it ironic that a human was teaching a Klingon about weapons. He couldn’t help but let off a smile. “Well, cadet, your form is good. I’ll let you show the Lieutenant and I’ll help out Cadet Corvax,” he said as he noticed Corvax getting more nervous. He had been watching both the cadets carefully and studying them to see what level they were already at with firearms for their target practice sessions. Noticing that Corvax’s nerves were getting to him, he joined the cadet right behind him and pulled out his own bow to demonstrate. “So, first stay relaxed. Pull back slowly, right back to just behind your ear” he said as he pulled back his bow as he instructed, letting himself breathe slowly and letting his eyes pick out a target. Noticing one, he aimed a little ahead, accounting for distance travelled by the arrow as he released one hitting the small rat-like target that was running around the holodeck. “Just like that,” he said with a smile. “Let’s see what you’ve got, and I’ll give you some pointers,” he said, turning to corvax with a smile.

As Corvax set up his shot, Simon stood just behind him to keep an eye on his form. “Just relax, lower the shoulders,” he said, pushing gently down so that Corvax would feel his arms less tense and more relaxed. “Pull back, and hold. Don’t release until you have marked your target, think about speed of the target, and predict where it will be based on the distance the arrow has to travel,” he said as he assisted the Corvax, helping him pull the string back from behind. Once Paron was happy with the cadets position and aim, he let go and left it in the hands of the cadet, noticing one of his moving targets coming through a tree line.

Pointing it out so that Paron’s arm was just within Corvax’s line of sight, he pointed the cadet in the right direction. “And when your ready, release,” he said and watched with intent as he watched the doctor that had managed to impress him in the stationary range that Kingstone set up.

Dominic had almost instantly relaxed as he had listened to his instructions carefully he had relaxed when he felt pressure on his shoulders allowing them to relax like paron told him to,he had kept his breathing nice and calm,and steady. As Dominic bulled back the string of the bow he relaxed and lowered his arms he saw the target he needed to hit he had watched the target move analyzing the distance and the best course of action to take,Dominic bit his lip as he waited for the proper moment. When Dominic was confident enough he released the arrow watching it make a satisfying sound when it hit the target.

Dominic smiled seeing he had successfully hit his target he had turned looking at paron grinning from ear to ear about his success, “I did it I hit the target I did everything just like you said and I hit the target ” He said smiling looking down shyly but still had his goofy smile plastered on his face
