Dominic sighed softly after having to unpack his belongings, Dominic knew what he had to do. Dominic had walked the halls heading to the sickbay for a physical, which he doesn’t mind. As he walked the halls he gently placed his hand on the walls and felt them go by as he walked, feeling what he touch much like the walls made his mind go to ease. It also helped him get familiar with his surroundings.

Once Dominic found the sickbay- he had entered seeing other medical officers and patient’s, he moved out the walk way when he saw someone leaving, he always tried to stay out the way. Dominic took a deep breath in and relaxed as he took in the sights of the sickbay before speaking up. “Um, excuse me. I’m here to get a physical?” He said and waited patiently for someone to be free.

OOC (Out of Character): What a fantastic first post, Damian! One little tip: it helps if you can write your character name at the bottom, called a sign off. That reminds us who posted when we get to the bottom of your post. :) I like to write something like “Cmdr Adrie, XO” for me.

Buckingham turned around and smiled at the new Cadet. “Certainly!” He said warmly. “I’m Lieutenant Buckingham - Chief Medical Officer here on the Endeavor.” Buckingham extended his arm and offered the Cadet a Handshake. Tom had heard through the Grapevine that he might be expecting a new Medical Cadet aboard, which was always exciting.
“And you are?” Tom said, inviting the Cadet to introduce himself before they began the check-in.

Dominic shook his hand being polite”ice to meet you I’m Dominic Corvax the new doctor sir.” He said letting his eyes wander for s moment before focusing back on the conversation” it’s strange being here finally. I like it, I hope I enjoy it here.” He said as he relaxed from his slight nervousness.

Upon learning that this Cadet was the new Medical Cadet Buckingham grinned. “Wonderful!” He Said. Things had been quite busy aboard just lately, so an extra pair of hands would be most useful. Also this would be the first Cadet that Tom would be in charge of the tutelage of since his appointment as CMO, so overall he was quite enthusiastic.

“Well it’s a pleasure to have you aboard Dominic! I certainly look forward to working with you, and I do hope you enjoy it also!” Tom said Cheerily.
“Now then, we’ll get your Medical out of the way, then we’ll go into my office and have a little chat about what you can expect from your time aboard this ship and in my Department. If you’ll follow me this way…”
With that, Buckingham picked up a PADD and moved across the room to an empty Biobed and motioned for the Cadet to take a seat upon it.

Dominic nodded following him to the biobed sitting down, looking around the room seeing how busy it was before looking back at Tom and smiled relaxing around him he was actually quite glad he was on the happier side. “I can’t wait to see what medical challenges will be awaiting for me” he said smiling

“Absolutely” Buckingham said, pleased with the Cadet’s enthusiasm. Medical work was nearly always full of challenges, sometimes they can drive you to frustration, but there was always a sense of a job well done when you overcome these challenges.

“So then, ” Tom said, beginning the physical. “Before we proceed with your medical, have you any aliments or conditions you wish to raise with me now that aren’t expressed on your medical history?” He asked as he pulled up the Cadet’s Medical History up on the PADD.
