Paron nodded towards the cadets “good job, cadets. It isn’t something that happens overnight, but practicing is what makes it work. Looking forward to seeing you at target practice, cadets. Just because your not in security doesn’t mean there will be a time you may need to defend yourselves. So, who says we go for the fifty meters next?” he asks the cadets with a slight smile.

Dominic nodded in agreement to his comment about practice “I’m willing to try anything now.” He said with a smile he was actually wanting to learn more about archery

Kai saw the smile of the Lieutenant: the spirit of the competition in him was arising quickly.
He would nod to him and take his bow, and his arrows then set himself behind the line parallel to the fifty-meters target.
“Look, and learn.” Said with confidence and a bit of presumption.
Again, nocked the arrow, the Cadet lifted up the bow to take the aim. Two deep breathes after, he was adjusting slightly to the right as the wind was flowing to the left, and certain that he was ready, he released the string, accelerating the arrow. A couple of seconds later, the tip would hit some millimeter away from the center, but still in the yellow zone.
Kai smiled of happiness and told to the others: “now is your turn.”
