The arrival of the Cadet Dominic, surprised Kai that expected only one person to come. He welcomed him and said to the lieutenant: “Yeah I understand what you mean. The computer prepared only two sets, but I’ll ask to make a new one.” Smiled openly.
After ordering the computer to make a new set, immediately a new bow, quiver and arrows were materialized on the table.
“Dominic, Lieutenant, have you ever used a bow before?” Questioned to both of them, as he lined up perpendicular to the shooting line and preparing a new arrow to be shoot, taking it carefully from the quiver.

Dominic relaxed some as he watched the archery stuff change appear “I shot one off when I was really young I vaguely remember it.” He said as he attempted to recall the memory as much as possible.

“Oh” Said surprised Kai, while after a deep breath of relaxation he was already pointing the bow and the arrow toward the 20 meter target.
“I guess you will need and arm protection. The bow string usually bounces back when returns in the resting position and might hit your arm, leaving a painful red concussion.” Smiled and giggled jokingly.
After said those words, Kai was stretching the string. His face became serious and his concentration was at its pitch point. Then after looking straight at the yellow zone of the target, and measured the necessary adjustments for the wind flow direction and parabolic trajectory, the Cadet released the string and the arrow flew the 20 meters in less that 1 second, hitting the center of the target.
“I had practiced it a lot. So protections are not necessary for me.” Told both of them with proudness.
“How about you Lieutenant?”

Torias gave a small smile as he observed the scientist hit his mark. He picked up one of the arrows a cocked a bow, lining up a shot in his eyeline. Also aiming for his own twenty meter target, he took a breath in, and focused where he wanted the arrow to go. As the arrow hit the center of the twenty meter target, Torias shrugged and smiled, “Well there’s one history subject I know, and that’s all about weapons, the old and the new. Understanding historical examples makes you appreciate what you have more,” he said as the arrow’s thwang quietened. “But it has been a couple of years since I’ve done some archery,” he replied.

Surprised by the ability of Mr. Paron to hit the target, Kai walked toward him and said: “Nice shot, Lieutenant. A bit of practice will do.” Smiled
“If it is okey, I want to challenge you later for the fifty and seventy-five meters targets. Who wins, earns a drink, who loses must pay for it.” Questioned Mr. Paron with a provocative but also jokingly tone.

Dominic bit his lip and watched them shooting off arrow”the more I think about it the more I remember what happened when I attempted to do this. If my memory serves me correctly I tried hitting the target but I hit everything else like nearby trees......my house........... almost one in my mother’s head, maybe that’s why my mother didn’t let continue.” He said laughing softly as he remembered more of that memory

Hearing Dominic’s story, Kai laughed a bit.
“Take a bow and the protections for the arm. I want to see how you shoot.” Told to Dominic, with a curious tone.
“Also,” added “there’s always a first time, and I will not accept a refuse to try again archery.” Said sarcastically smiling.

Dominic nodded taking a bow with arm gear and prepared himself, once he was done he lined himself up with the target took a arrow drawing it back on the bow, he was slightly shaking because he wasn’t used to the tension of the bow. Dominic took a deep breath and took time to aim where he wanted before releasing the arrow and surprisingly enough he had hit the outer edge of the target.

Oliver, standing near the table and Mr. Paron, looked silent and nodded as he saw potential in him. “Can you draw back the bow again? But this time do not release the string.” asked to the fellow mate, heading to him.
It was not the first time he saw such shoots: with a bit of correction in postures and adjustments in the trajectory, even Dominic could score the red or even the yellow circle.
“And it was not bad for a newbie” added, leaving a thumb up for support.

Dominic saw the thumbs up smiling amd nodded”yea sure” he said drawing back the string again not releasing it just as he was told.

Kai, took a moment to look at Dominic’s posture. Immediately saw that the shoulder was too much high and that the right arm was not properly drawn back. Immediately, he managed to correct wisely his mate position and looking backward and checking everything, Kai said to Dominic: “go ahead and try.”
He was sure that Mr. Corvax would hit at least the red zone.
“Let’s hope it works.” Thought.

Dominic kept the posture and aimed at the target, when he felt confident that he would hit the target, he released the string watching the arrow land just a n inch or two in the red zone. When saw the arrow sitting in the red zone he smiled. “Hey! No one’s injured! You both survived my unruly aim! ” He said jokingly with a smile
