USS Endeavour
Lt K'Resh's Quarters
K’Resh sighed as she looked around her new quarters in dismay. She had the unfortunate and dubious pleasure of being stuck next to a small impudent child for most of her journey to the ship and she could still feel it’s sticky paw prints on her arm. She threw her bag in the corner and began to pull the cushions off the sofa and discard them over her shoulder. K’Resh tenatively perched on the edge and grunted. It was still more comfortable than she cared for but she reluctantly decided that it would suffice for now. She peered over at her bag but decided to leave it for now and wandered over to the replicator. “Raktajino!” she barked at the computer and picked up the steaming mug the second it materialised.
Warming her hands on the hot Klingon coffee she sat back on the sofa and pulled a PaDD out of her bag as she went over the ship specifications again. K’Resh still wasn’t sure how she’d ended up here but now that she was, she would make sure the ship was running at peak efficiency. As she savoured her drink, she looked back to the bag she had hastily slung in the corner and groaned. Reluctantly she dragged it into the bedroom and began unpacking. As she rooted through her bag, she pulled out a picture with great care and placed it on the dresser, lingering for a moment as she looked at it fondly. It was of a significantly younger K’Resh with her 2 brothers, Matuh and L’Usuk. She paused as she wondered what they were up to, she didn’t even know if they were still alive. It had been almost 20 years since she had been exiled from Qo’noS but her thoughts still took her back there often.
She quickly turned her attention back to her unpacking before crashing out on the bed after a long and somewhat trying day.
