Dominic had walked the halls going towards counseling,it made him…uneasy, anxious. Though he disliked counseling he knew it was for his own good no matter how uneasy it made him. As he walked he kept his hand on the wall to keep him grounded to reality so he would focus on what was important,in his case counseling was very important for him he knew he needed to go it was required. “I hope this is quick…” He thought as he encountered the counselor’s office door, chiming it to enter the office. He took a deep breath and entered when he heard the voice on the other side tell him to enter. “Good morning counselor…I’m here to check in for the duty evaluation.” He said as he let his eyes wander for a moment before looking at the counselor.

The office Dominic would find held a sofa and coffee table and some chairs and some beanbags in one corner. The lighting was softer than out in the main corridor and there didn’t appear to be a desk. Some book shelves lined one wall filled with books and nicknacks. There also appeared to be a water feature running at the back of the room in a small table.

The counsellor herself was seated on the sofa with a PaDD in hand and a steaming cup in front of her. She smiled at the newcomer. “Good Afternoon, please come in.” She gestured at the area’s to sit. “ Have a seat and get comfortable, can I offer you a drink or something from the replicator.

Dominic saw how different it was in there rather out in the hall, he rather liked it. When heard the counselor speak he had sat down near by still slightly anxious about being here, but the room started relaxing him enough to where he felt safe enough to be there. “N-no thank you counselor im fine ” he said as looked around the room, taking in how much different the room was from the rest of the ship, “it’s calmer in here then out there......I kind of like it.” He said quietly as kept looking around. He felt that this counselor was different, he hoped he was right.

Skye smiled and picking up her cup sipped the tea inside, giving Dominic a chance to relax. She looked around, “thank you, I haven’t been aboard very long so I’m just finished getting my office how I like it. Please take some time to relax and when your ready we can chat.” She went back to her PaDD, not staring at him and giving him space to get comfortable

Dominic took a moment to collect his thoughts before standing up going over to the shelf full of books see what they were but out of respect didnt touch them. He knew better then to touch what wasnt his, “you have alot of books. Some I’ve never heard of....” he said as he looked at the books. Then sat back down,”I think I’m ready now counselor. I’d rather not keep you waiting.” He said in a very.......abnormal tone a tone he hadn’t used before, which to many can be strange but to dominic it was completely normal to him.
