Cadet Wallcroft walks in with a freshly pressed uniform. He walks in and stands at attention as he quickly pushes out the words through his nervousness. He stands at attention but its obvious he’s still unsure of what exactly he’s doing here. He always wanted to join Starfleet he just never really thought he would make it here. but here he stands reporting for duty. As a bead of sweat works it’s way down his forehead. his hand quivering but he strains not to let it show…

Kanto looked up from the stack of PADDs on his desk as the cadet walked in. He arched an eyebrow as the young human stood completely rigid for evaluation. It was clear that the cadet was waiting for him to say something, but he was not completely sure what to say himself. It was his first day as CSO, and this would be his first cadet. He had a fleeting hope that he was up to the task. He gestured to the chair across from his desk as he said, “Welcome to the Science Lab, Cadet… Wallcroft, is it? You may sit.”

“Tell me,” the Vulcan asked, “What can you tell me about yourself? Do you have any specific fields of study that you excel in? And what do you believe you can contribute to Starfleet in the Science Department?”
