Cassandra stepped onto the bridge, immediately noting how quiet it got as soon as an eagle-eyed cadet snapped to attention and shouted “Captain on the bridge”. It was something she still was not used to, despite earning her Captain’s pips years ago.

“Report,” She spoke as she took her seat, she’d reviewed the PaDD Commander Vahl had given her in their brief encounter but wanted to hear from the bridge officer who had been left in charge after Vahl departed.
