“Well good!” the Denobulan exclaimed. “I’m glad to know then when I inevitably make a fool of myself, I shall have witnesses,” she said with a grin.

Eshrallias managed a smile of amusement, but could offer no more than the slightest shake of her head, in response to her.

“And before we wrap up this little discussion, tell me one thing in the entire Universe that is guaranteed to make you smile,” Liadra instructed, clearly serious despite her cheeriness.

Furrowing her eyebrows, Vheris was caught off guard by the question. Something that was guaranteed to make her smile? “Seeing any of the cadets under me succeed in the program, I suppose.” She wasn’t sure what else to say. Finding a new species? Developing a scientific theory? She couldn’t give anything more than the only thing she knew could at least put a smile on any DH’s face.

“Not work,” Liadra said with a shake of her head. “You personally, in life. Could be now, or in the past. What’s one thing that always will make you smile. Or if not smile, feel happy,” the Denobulan explained.

Vheris seemed to have trouble considering this. She had been born and raised Andorian, excluding the few years she had spent with a human family, on Earth. Thus, she aas accustomed to the chill of her people, the idealism behind doing what you had to. Work, then play. At least, that was how her family, who did possess Imperial Guards, taught her to be. “Oh..” She thought for a second, “I have always been fond of art and music. I suppose a masterpiece of any sort, or a new composition would put a smile on my face..?” She seemed almost to question her own response.

“Then I guess we’ll find out,” Liadra said softly with a smile once again. “Well, I don’t know about you, but I’ve got a pretty busy rest of my day. I’m glad we were able to sit down and have such a lovely chat. I do look forward to more of them.”

“As do I, Counselor.” Eshrallias rose to her feet, inclining her head. Offering a hand to the woman, she gave a small smile. “Thank you seeing me.”
