Cain sat in his quarters, they day was ending and he wondered about something. The Counselor had proposed an idea, he was curious about it. Tapping his combadge he began to contact her. =/\=Counselor, this is Chief Treyarch, you have a minute?”

There was a slight pause before her cheery voice came through. =/\=I just might Lieutenant. What can I do for you?=/\= She sounded in motion.

=/\=I am looking to go on adventure, was hoping you would come. What was that event you told me about again? The super dangerous one? Doesn’t really seem… like a good idea but I figured if you had time we could do a bad idea together.=/\=

Liadra couldn’t help but laugh slightly. =/\=Well, the only one it poses extreme danger to is me apparently, but if you’re willing to test out your threshold, I can take you hydrosailing.=/\= Even as she spoke, the grin on her face was widening. =/\=When and where?=/\=

=/\= How about an hour, Holodeck 1. Pick a beach scene you like and I’ll set up the rest.=/\= In truth, Liadra was quick nervous to be doing this sport again, even if it was on the holodeck with safeties. After all, when she had first taken up hydrosailing she had thought herself if not invincible, than certainly not in any great risk. It was perhaps her first real taste of life outside the confines of her home and family and she had learned about her thirst for adventure and her boundaries on risk.

=/\=By all means commander, I look forward to it.=/\= Cain said, he had felt nervous trying this. He wasn’t one to try and suppress his emotions but he didn’t try to dwell on them either.

An hour later Cain made it to the holodeck, looking around and checked to see if he was early or not for Commander.
