“Well, I think the minimum standard we all can expect here is that we’re in Starfleet, so there are minimum expectations of conduct.” Liadra exhaled and then smiled. “Let’s say there is some chaos that happens, I suspect that we as senior officers on this ship can handle it, don’t you?” she said pointedly. She almost had a full enough picture of the CSO in her mind and while she doubted she’d actually participate in whatever theatrical event took place, Liara hoped she’d at least be there to watch.

“Senior Officers? I have no doubt.” Eshrallias remarked, clasping her hands together. She wondered just how many of the Senior Officers would be apt to showing up to such an event. Would they be repelled by its perhaps immature status? Or would they find it welcome relief to the chaos of their everyday lives? As a scientist, Vheris was fascinated by this prospect, and it would likely be the only reason she attended.

“Well, I’m not forcing anyone to participate, but I figure you and I would be there and I would lead the group, or whatever it becomes. But I figure I’d drag you there with me for moral support,” she said with grin. “I figure us as senior officers could handle whatever chaos a little acting group might create.” It was the tipping point of their conversation. This was still an evaluation, even though it was a mostly casual chat. All she needed to know about the CSO was coming through in these moments.

“Moral support? I don’t know… We Andorians don’t tend to be the most fluffy and kind of creatures.” She teased, which was something she had not previously done. Vheris was an odd person. To those she worked with, she was stiff and almost robotic. However, to those she could become accustomed to, she was a lively person, who simply hid behind a facade so she didn’t risk hurting herself or others. A very protective and even debatably anxious person. However, Vheris was fairly seasoned in hiding her anxiety. In fact, it was the only thing she could actually lie about without giving herself away. “All right. Scientifically speaking, it would be interesting to see how it turns out..” She said, to make it seem like she was only going for that reason.

“Mmhmmm,” Liadra said gazing intently. “Well, no one is asking you to be fluffy, but if things go sideways, it would be nice to have someone there not only willing to laugh at whatever antics I get into, but drag me out after for a drink to celebrate the effort,” she said, breaking into one of her extra wide grins.

Lt. Cmdr. Liadra, CNS

“I am more than willing to do that much,” Eshrallias smiled at her, not quite understanding what she meant by ‘fluffy.’ Then again, the scientist took things far more literal than they likely were. Vheris was much a person to have friends, being solitary. However, she hoped she could show the kindness of a friend, should Liadra ever need it.

“Well good!” the Denobulan exclaimed. “I’m glad to know then when I inevitably make a fool of myself, I shall have witnesses,” she said with a grin.

“And before we wrap up this little discussion, tell me one thing in the entire Universe that is guaranteed to make you smile,” Liadra instructed, clearly serious despite her cheeriness.
