AJ walks up to the councillors office and presses the button on the door awaiting the reply from the councillor.

Cadet Spicer. Eng

“Enter!” a cheery voice sounded from the door’s comm.

Inside, the pink haired Denobulan was standing in the middle of the room, gazing thoughtfully at the wall with a steaming mug of something spicy smelling in her hand. The small office wasn’t oppressively so, and she had the sitting area (a small sofa and a couple slim armchairs) tucked on one side across from her desk where another chair was opposite where she usually worked.

Casting her grey eyes to the door, Liadra took in the newcomer and gave a warm smile. “Hello! Come on in and tell me what you think?”

On the wall above the sitting area was a moderate sized painting that was clearly abstract with washes of yellows, blues and greys.

AJ sees the small office and has a look around when he is asked to enter he feels a little at ease hearing the cheerful voice.

He realises he has never seen a Denobulan in person before, while deep in his thoughts he only just realises he is asked what he thinks.
He stands to attention and reverts back to being respectful “I am not up on my art but it is pleasing to the eyes ma’am”.

AJ stands there hoping he did not come across as disrespectful or dismissive.

Liadra’s grin widened. “Then I think I’ll keep it.” She gestured carefully with one hand, careful not to spill her drink. “Come, have a seat and tell me who you are. New arrival needing an eval I take it?” she asked as she moved over to set her drink on the small coffee table. She waited to sit so that the cadet could pick the seat they wanted to sit in first.
