“Now, how about I give you a tour of our small medical facilities here and you can tell me more about yourself,” Marlene said.

“That would be wonderful.” He Smiled “Thank you”. Tom slid himself down off of the biobed and gently pulled the bottom of his uniform tunic back into place. He was quite looking forward to seeing what facilities and equipment he would be working with.

“We have a small Sickbay here,” Marlene said. “Nothing too complicated or difficult.” She pointed out the various pieces of equipment and supplies that they had.

“I’d like to know more about you,” Marlene said, stopping to look at him more closely.

Buckingham followed Marlene as she pointed out the different pieces of equipment. She was right, this was nothing new to Tom, so he was sure that he would be quite comfortable working in the Sickbay.

“There’s very little to tell, I’m afraid I’m quite boring really” He modestly joked. “What would you like to know?”

“I’m sure you’re not boring,” Marlene said. “What about your family? Do you have a girlfriend? Boyfriend? Any hobbies outside of the medical field?” The green skinned woman leaned back against the bulkhead, her arms crossed over her chest, studying him.
