Kyle entered Nine Forward after a brief jog down Section J of Deck Nine, or as he called it, ‘The Perfect Cool Off’. He ordered a Spagetti Carbonara from the replimat in the corner of the room and found a table near to one of the many starboard side windows. As he looked out on the streched stars, the Challenger had been at warp for a few days now, Anders couldn’t help but think about how he and his Mother used to sit watching the stars go by. He missed those days.
Hope you’re watching me up there lass, he said to himself.

-Cadet Kyle Anders: Security-

Riley entered the crew lounge, feeling refreshed after the sonic shower. It was sparsely crowded, and he saw that Kyle had beat him here, and already had food. He considered what he wanted as he approached the replimat.

“Kale soup,” he ordered. Filling, but comforting. Good way to end a not-so-good day.

“This looks a relaxing way to end the day,” he commented as he sat across from the security officer.

“Certainly a great way to wind down.” Anders replied, “I come here after a long shift, even if it’s just to people watch.” Kyle could feel a long lasting friendship beginning to bloom between himself and the young Science Officer.
