The doors to sickbay parted to reveal a young man in a cadet’s uniform. His shoes were polished, his uniform pressed, but there was a tension in his expression no amount of preparation could erase. He entered slowly, circling round toward the CMO’s office on the periphery to avoid any traffic, taking the opportunity to look more closely at the equipment along the way.

OOC: Welcome to the Challenger! This is quite a good first post! Just one thing I’d like to show you: Post signing. All you do, put your character’s name, rank and department or job at the bottom of your post, like I’ve done on this one. Ideally, it’ll look something like “Cadet (name), Doctor” Or “Cadet (Name), Medical”

The sickbay was quite busy as it commonly was, with the medical staff rushing about both teaching cadets and ensigns and doing their jobs. A few of them, recognizing Moreno’s uniform as a med cadet’s waved or muttered a rushed hello as they rushed passed him.

The CMO’s office was through a door in Sickbay, and the office was a bit plain, with a desk and three chairs, one behind the desk and two in front. Against the wall was a bookcase full of medical texts. Junior Lieutenant Mika tried to keep her desk tidy, but at the moment it was an absolute mess, as she sat behind her desk, rifling through a stack of papers and other things.
