Eric went to the quarter’s computer terminals, and activated it. “Computer, display the personnel records for Ensign Pey Janga.”

While he waited for those records to be displayed, Eric started looking to see if there was a first-aid medical kit in the guest quarters…

-Cmdr. Eric Holmman, XO

The CO had relieved him of his command, not suspended his credentials. Sure enough the records appeared on the screen:

The ensign was a fresh graduate of the academy and was put on the Challenger. She was Bajoran and pretty, if you were into blonde female Bajorans. Not a bombshell but definitely that girl next door look.

Her record was impeccable if short and unimpressive. She had a promising career ahead of her but it was cut short for some reason. The whole public record was available for the commander’s review.

Before Eric had a chance to look at the records, he found the quarter’s first aid kit. He opened it up, and as he hoped, he found a medical tricorder. ‘Well, at least one thing has gone right so far today,’ he thought to himself.

Eric had a fairly basic medical training all Starfleet officers have, but he was not an expert in analyzing medical data. He just hoped that his science background - even if was more mathematical based - combined with his training would be enough to make sense of the readings. And to see what was going on, with him. There were too many coincidences, and the twelve-hour lack of memories needed to be explained somehow. And if the investigators weren’t interested in examining him..

“Computer begin logging all readings from this tricorder, and identify the person being scanned in the log.”

With that done, Eric opened the tricorder and began scanning himself.

-Cmdr. Eric Holmman, XO

The computer beeped in acknowledgement as the scan ran. It took a few moments and then the file was created with all of Holmman’s medical files available for his perusal.

When the XO read the files they showed him to be in perfect condition. Though he really should think about drinking some water. He was very mildly dehydrated.

Eric frowned at the results. It hasn’t been that long since he woke up… the end results of a mild hangover were not what he expected. He closed the tricorder and put it back in the kit.

Eric went back to the computer terminal to review the results of the personnel file search. Not that he expected to find anything, but might as well be due diligent. “Computer, cross-reference with Commander Holmman’s records and display all matches.” There would be at least match showing that they were both assigned to the Challenger at the same time, but maybe something more interesting might show up…

-Cmdr. Eric Holmman, XO

Other that the stationing on the Challenger there was very little overlap. Often they were posted on opposite watches, very little chance of overlap except for a few hours in the morning and evening at meal times, but she was a junior officer not at all likely to run in the same social circles as the Commander.

Moments after the records were displayed, the door chime outside of the guest quarters sounded, announcing that Holmman had a visitor.

Davis, CO

Eric grimaced. The results were not telling him anything yet, but he had a few more records he wanted to take a look at. But, being cut off from everything meant that any visitor was welcome at this point.

“Enter,” Eric said, standing up from his seat, heading towards the entrance.

-Cmdr. Eric Holmman, XO

The door to the entrance of the quarters slid open to reveal the form of Emmy, with a medkit tucked neatly under her arm. She didn’t wait to exchange pleasantries before striding into the guest quarters, straight for a nearby table, where she set down the medkit and popped it open to reveal the medical tricorder. In silence, she took out the instrument and then made her way to Holmman with a raised eyebrow, waiting for confirmation that he had consented to the scan.

Davis, CO

OOC: She wouldn’t know that he had just done the scan, hence I’m sticking with this. :)
