Taking notes on all her findings, she decided it was now time to report to Captain Davis. =/\= Mika to Captain Davis, I’ve got some interesting results here. I’d say she died 3 - 6 hours before we found her. Looks like she fought judging by the state of her finger nails. And one other thing… she was strangled, not drowned. =/\=

Any and every test that Mika could think to run would return that the body on her slab was in fact Medical Ensign Pey Janga.

Mika was downright confused now. “Alive and well?” She said aloud, and she ran several tests, all of which reported that this was Janga. And she was dead.

=/\= Captain, this is definitely Janga Pey. My tests are quite conclusive. My Ensign is… well, dead. The computer must be malfunctioning. =/\= She reported back to Captain Davis.

Mika frowned, thinking of any other info she could get from the body. She wanted to get to the bottom of this, and quickly. She just… didn’t know what else to test for. Changeling-ness? There wasn’t really a test for that.

NE Boyle came running up to Mika with a PaDD. “Lieutenant,” he huffed and puffed resting his hands on his knee. He held up one hand, finger extended as he caught his breath. After a hot second he held up the PaDD out to the CMO, “Benzodiazepine… or rather the traces of a benzodiazepine. It was found in the Ensign’s blood.”

“Benzodiazepines?” Mika frowned. “Janga wasn’t even concious? Then why strangle her?” She asked, confused. “Anyway, we’ll have to report this to the Captain.” She told the NE.

“We know there was skin cells under the fingernails right? She must have fought back but she was knocked out at some point,” NE said before frowning thoughtfully. “Who has access to the medical replicator?”

“The med team… and senior staff.” Mika replied, frowning. That didn’t help Commander Holmman at all. “I’ll have to report this to Captain Davis.” She said, and with that, she said into her communicator, =/\= Sickbay to Captain Davis, I’ve got a little more info here. Unfortunately, it’s not good news. The Ensign was dosed with benzodiazepines, a class of anti-anxiety sedative that would easily put someone to sleep. It would’ve had to have been gotten from Sickbay, but that still means the entire med team and commanding officers would have access. =/\=

Caelian found himself a little winded by the time he reached SIckbay. He muttered apologies to the gathered officers as he knelt by the access panel and opened his toolkit. Once the panel came free, he tapped his comm badge.

=^= Cadet Weir to Chief Zenzgii, I’ve arrived at Sickbay as ordered. Starting my diagnostic now. Will advise. =^=

Caelian frowned at the array of chips and circuits. There was no point in an automated diagnostic if the computer was malfunctioning. Shrugging to himself, he began checking Sickbay’s sensor array.
