Something had woken Sharah up. It was a rhythmic buzzing. “Computer cancel alarm.” she mumbled. The alarm stopped, but it was quiet, the buzzing in her head was too quiet. Was she still in sickbay? She started to sit up and was stopped by something. Oh....oh! That was Joseph’s arm, and the buzzing was quiet because she had stayed wrapped up in that quiet spot in his mind all night. How had she managed that? She then had a sudden moment of panic, but then it passed. She remembered they both had today off. He appeared to still be asleep so she tried to stay quiet so she wouldn’t wake him up. She closed her eyes to doze a little more.
Cadet Fayth, Doctor

The alarm also woke Rainns and he stirred. “Oops,” He said out loud. “Didn’t mean to stay here all night. Hope you don’t mind.”

“Hmmmm?” Sharah smiled, “No, I don’t mind.” It occurred to her that maybe he did, “Do…do you?” That would be embarrassing if he didn’t want to be there. She started to sit up.
Cadet Fayth, Doctor

Rainns chuckled, “Do I mind waking up next to the woman I love? No not at all. I fact, I hope I can do it more in the future.”

Sharah smiled, “I’d like that too.” She saw the bowls from the previous night and grabbed them and the glasses and got rid of them. She turned around and laughed just little bit, “So, what now?”
Cadet Fayth, Doctor

Rainns got up from the couch, stretched his body for a few moments and shrugged. “I have no idea.” he said. “I haven’t had a day to spend with a woman in almost two years now. Memories of his previous and only other relationship came into his mind. But, he noticed, unlike every other time this had happened before, those memories were not accompanied by a sense of loss and pain, but rather a new sensation, indifference. “I’ll be happy as long as I get to spend it with you imzadi.”
