Sharah simply stayed there for several minutes. She closed her eyes and breathed. Eventually her own swirling thoughts settled. She wrapped herself in Joseph’s promise. She knew he didn’t make them lightly and so it was precious to her. Suddenly she remembered he probably wanted to finish her food. She felt better, but was simply to comfortable to move. Quietly she asked, ‘Does your old soul like movies?’

‘Honestly it depends on the movie, some I like, others I hate’ Joseph responded, soaking in the relaxed feelings Sharah has begun to give off.

‘Oh,’ Sharah was finally relaxed and had to stifle a yawn. Not because she was bored, she was just that comfortable. Her head rested back against his shoulder. She probably should get rid of the dishes, but she decided it could wait. ‘Are you as relaxed as I am?’

Joseph smiled at the Doctors second question. He was cuddling with the woman he loved after having a meal together and listening to excellent music. ‘Sharah, I might be more relaxed than you at the moment .’ He thought . ‘Don’t worry about the dishes right now sweetheart, they aren’t going anywhere.’

Sharah wasn’t worrying about anything at the moment. She reached over to hold one of his hands, sighing softly. Between the quiet Joseph had wrapped her in, the music, and the sound of his heartbeat under her ear, Sharah had been lulled almost to sleep. Her last fleeting thought, before falling asleep, was something about hoping her couch was comfortable for Joseph because she was not moving.
