After meeting with his department head, Cadet Greg Pricer took the turbolift to Sickbay. Even with the holodeck safety protocols on playing aggressive sports growing up had led to Greg spending more time than he, or his parents, liked in the Sickbay of whatever ship or station they called home. It was for this reason he disliked being in them, even for something as simple as a check-in. Greg walked in, seeing the doctors and medical assistants milling about. Based on the number of people there he prepared himself for a longer than expected wait and approached the first person who looked free.
“Excuse me I’m here for my check-in,” Greg said, calling upon all of his mental discipline training to not show how little he wanted to be here.

NE Nurse walked over. “Hello Cadet. Take a seat on a biobed and I will get Dr. Fayth for you.” She walked across the room and spoke to a short, dark haired cadet. “Get his record, NE Nurse and I’ll be right there.”
NE Nurse walked back over, “Can I get your name Cadet so I can get your record downloaded or do you have a PaDD with it loaded?”

Fayth walked over to the biobed. “Welcome to the Challenger, cadet.” Taking in his body language she could tell that he did not want to be there. “We’ll get this over as quickly as possible.” She opened up her tricorder and began scanning with the probe. “Any recent changes in sleep, eating, or other habits? Any travels outside of known Federation planets?”

Cadet Fayth, Doctor

Greg looked for a free biobed and sat down. “I have all my information right here,” he said, as he handed the NE Nurse a PaDD from his last posting. He looked around a bit just to familiarize himself with this Sickbay as he waited for Dr. Fayth.
He looked up when he heard the questions. “Some issues with sleep but I have been addressing them with meditation,” Greg said, while mentally creating a running list of Dr. Fayth’s mannerisms. Being in security it is important to be able to tell when someone is acting out of the ordinary, so he made a point of creating a mental profile of everyone he meets on a new assignment.

Fayth took note of that. “Do you often have trouble sleeping? Meditation is a great way to help that. I would also suggest avoiding anything to eat or drink with stimulants in it, at least two hours before bed. Water or a calming tea, like chamomile are okay after the 2 hour mark.” Her mannerisms are very quiet and subdued. She appears efficient and insightful. She continues scanning with the tricorder. “Anything in your medical records that you feel we need to be aware of right away? Anything not in there you would like us to add?”

OOC: It’s up to you to tell me if she finds anything abnormal on your scans.
