Mara had been sitting on a nearby box, possibly filled with equipment of some sorts, she didn’t bother to read the label. She was quietly reading a book on Vulcan culture before being rather abruptly interrupted by the other cadets. Though, she wasn’t angry or upset by the interruption, instead she was rather glad. It gave her the perfect opportunity to observe others on the ship, and maybe even make new friends. Marking where she was in the book with a ripped piece of paper, she put it down next to her and watched the cadets without saying a word.

Sharah glanced over at Oxton and saw she shared the same past time. She took a deep breath, gathering her courage and walked over. “I see we share the same past time.” Referring to people watching. Sharah did it a lot even though she rarely actually engaged socially with those around her. The purpose of this cadet mission is to learn to work together, and she was going to that, even if it was hard.

Kyle smiled and returned the Handshake, “Kyle Anders, at your service, thought I’d join you lovely ladies for a run after a pretty successfully meeting with Commander Korczak, hope I’m not intruding?”

McMorran blushed slightly at Anders’ comment, the pigmentation obvious on her pale skin. “Ah, sure, yes. I’m beyond on my schedule, hence the rapid pace. Sure you can keep up?” She smirked playfully.

Rainns was walking quickly walking down the hall. The young man had just finished his shift and was looking forward to a quiet night in his quarters. As he rounded a corridor he suddenly came to a halt at the gaggle of Cadets that had amassed in the hallway. “What the?” He asked. Visibly surprised by the sight of so many in such a small area.

Sharah looked up knowing who was coming. When Rainns walked around the corner she caught his eye and shook her head. She wasn’t really sure how they all got there, but they were. He was off shift, but some of his officers were in this mess. “Oh sorry, Lt. We literally ran into each other, and haven’t sorted out the tangle yet.”

Kyle smiled at the quip, “I was just fine until you stopped, fancy a race to prove it?” As he said that, he noticed Rainns rounding the corner, “Unless I’m needed for something sir?”

Mara jumped slightly at Sharah’s appearance next to her, giggling she looked over at the medical cadet.

“The reading or the observing? I like watching people, I get to learn things about them without actually having to engage in any social interactions”

Sharah shrugged, “Both. I prefer to read the story rather than be in it, usually. I’m Sharah Fayth, medical.” She nodded at the book, “Anything good?”

“Absolutely. Let’s see what you’re made of!” McMorran ended up glancing between Rainns and Anders as she prepared to make off.

Mara grabbed her book and sort of showed Sharah the cover: It had a couple of Vulcans on the front and had the words “Logic, Lack of Emotions, and Intelligence: The Culture of Vulcans” .

“It’s basically self explanatory, all about Vulcans and their culture!”

The red haired girl then thought for a second. Is this where I introduce myself? Jesus wept Mara it’s not like talking is that hard! Okay, what did mother say? “If someone tells you their name, it’s probably a good time to introduce yourself too” okay. You can do this Mara!

Rainns looked around at all the Caders for a moment before eyeing Anders. “What exactly is going on here cadet?” He said, in a somewhat flabbergasted tone. “Do none of you people have shifts right now?”

Kyle had to think on his feet, “I finished my meeting with Counselor Korczak ten minutes ago sir, he created a fitness regime for me. Commander Korczak also recommended I go for a run before reporting for duty.” Kyle unpocketed a PADD from his pocket and quickly jotted something onto it.
“Cadet McMorran, does everything seem in order here?” Alli immediately noticed that the PADD did not have a fitness calendar on it, but a short message on it that read:
MEET ME IN HOLODECK 2 LATER, I KNOW A GREAT BAR?
