Kyle Anders entered the turbolift and gave the command to move to Deck 5. He was looking forward to meeting his neighbours in the crew quarters, it would be interesting to see who he would be working alongside, as well as living with, over however many years he would serve on the Challenger. Anders was sure that his father would be looking down on him at this moment.
Thanks for always having my back Dad, he thought to himself. As the turbolift came to a stop, Kyle stepped out into the corridor and took a moment to look around his home space for a few seconds before beginning to work his way down what felt like an endless corridor of locked quarters. After what felt like an age, Kyle came across Room 147, his room. Before entering Kyle thought to himself, ‘Wonder who I’ll be living with?’
