Kyle felt confident that his interview with Lieutenant Rainns had gone rather well. He seemed like one hell of an officer. Moving out of his Department Head’s office and into the adjacent corridor, Kyle took the opportunity to use a console to view the layout of the Discovery-class.
“Damn,” Kyle mumbled to himself, “Smaller than I thought, only 13 decks.” He realised that his next stop, Main Sickbay, was located on Deck Four. Once again, he flung his pack back over his shoulder and made his way to the turbolift. Minutes later, the doors slid aside revealing the sickbay.
“Excuse me, Doctor? Cadet Kyle Anders reporting for my boarding physical.”

-Cadet Kyle Anders: Security-

NE Nurse smiled at the new cadet, “Hello Cadet, just pick a bio bed and I’ll go get the doctor.” NE Nurse left the room and a moment later Cadet Fayth walked into the main sickbay with a tricorder and PaDD in hand, “Hello Cadet Anders. I’m Cadet Fayth and I’ll be handling your onboarding physical today.” She glanced over the PaDD to get an idea of his medical history. “Anything in here,” she nodded towards the PaDD, “that you are concerned about or want to make sure we take notice of?”

“The pleasure is mine Doctor,” Kyle replied, in the most British way possible, “Nothing too serious, I’ve been trying to keep up my physical fitness. Going for a run around Academy campus most mornings. (OOC: Ironic because I’m wheelchair-bound in real life lol) I am also a regular user of the Academy pool.”

Sharah nodded as she flipped open her tricorder and ran the probe in front of Cadet Anders from head to toe. “I do believe there is a group of cadets that run the corridors every day. And I’ve seen the security shifts running on their shifts,” taking note of his security uniform, “I’m sure your shifts will have a group that runs as well. We also have a full gymnasium with classes that cover a number of interests. As for a pool, I’m sure you can find a holodeck program to use. Make sure that you check the schedule though, the holodeck is very popular with everyone, so make sure to grab your time.” Sharah looked at the tricorder to see what the results showed.
OOC: At this point it’s up to you to decide if she finds anything

OOC: I wanted her to find that I have a bit of an overactive mind, I’m always thinking on my feet and solving problems, sometimes at unnatural speeds, basically I need to relax sometimes so as not to overwork myself.

IC: Kyle smiled appreciatively, “Thanks for the tip, Doc,” Kyle noticed that his native Northern English accent was starting to come out the more time he spent with his new crew.
