OOC: Just fixing the split again. I posted the last fix just before you responded, hence creating another split. :D It’s always a good idea to check the post list again just before you hit post to check if there’s been a new response. I know that’s difficult on mobile. I think some other users write their posts in ‘notes’, or wherever, then copy it into the site when they’re ready to post. Just an FYI!

“That’s right!”, McMorran exclaimed, “Or near enough. It’s nice to have a fellow Scot around!” She pushed the PaDD she had been using away from her. “Working on? Well, the CSO requests a research project of all his cadets. I’m working on something to do with gravitational waves and mapping the stars.” She motioned her finger, pointing out her PaDD. “I just hope it comes to something. What about you? What do security officers actually spend the average day doing? Punching each other?” She laughed gently, keen to not seem condescending.

Chuckles with a smile at Aili ” No we don’t punch each other all day, just gotta make sure there’s no problems on the ship for one anyways. And your CSO is Lt. Garth if my memory serves me correctly. As for gravitational waves and mapping the stars it sounds like a very intriguing subject.”

Aili nodded in response. “Of course, of course you do. Well, it’s good to know you’re here protecting us all!” She took a sip of the pale green drink which had been sitting on front of her. “Garth, yes. He’s an… interesting fellow. Friendly enough though. He’s a good boss, at the end of the day. Cadet Rainns has just taken over as chief of security hasn’t he? Lieutenant Rainns! I’ll need to get used to that. He’s a friendly man, I know that. Is he a good boss?” She laughed, almost to herself, awaiting the metaphorical beans to be spilled about the man she had come to know personally.

Sam had smirked just a bit ” Aye Lt. Rainns is Chief of Security now and he’s a good boss I would say everyone has there own opinions about people. I should know speaking from past experiences.”
