Realizing belatedly he’d been approached, the Caitian put down his coffee and smiled, taking Hayley’s hand to shake. “Cadet Satyol Kastyi. Please, call me Kast. Nice to meet you. I’m in the sciences department. Sorry if I spaced out there, I was trying to figure out if I like coffee again.”

“Ah, coffee, smells like heaven, tastes like old socks,” Hayley replied with a grin, “I prefer tea myself.”

Departing Mika’s side, Aili looked around for somewhere to socialise. It seemed the gathering had thinned somewhat during her chat with Aili so she elected to return to the table where Rainns and Greiss sat. She stopped slightly short of them and announced herself. “Hi there, again. Mind if I join you?”
