Matthew hoped it wasn’t painfully obvious how excited he was to meet a Bajoran for the first time. How he had made it through Academy without meeting one he couldn’t say; regardless, he was excited to finally have his first ship posting and not even another physical was going to bring his spirits down. He walked into sickbay, smiled at the doctor and said, “Hi Doctor, I’m Cadet Matthew Christianson, reporting for my onboarding physical it’s great to meet you”

OOC: Welcome aboard, Jayson! That is a really good first post! Just don’t forget to sign off ;) and don’t mind my CMO. She can be a bit … curt. It’s nothing personal :)

IC:
It wasn’t until the Cadet addressed her, that the petite doctor looked up from her work. Her copper hair was tied back into a neat ponytail, leaving not only her man freckles and Bajoran earring clearly visible, but also the thin scar that ran down the right side of her face from her temple to her ear. Gesturing towards one of the biobeds, she said, “Please have a seat. I’ll be with you shortly.” Almost as if in an after thought she added with a small smile, “And welcome aboard, Cadet.”

OOC: Thank you! :) lol no worries there. I haven’t quite figured out my characters personality yet.

IC:
“Thank you, Doctor.” Matthew said as he walked over and sat on the closest biobed; still not trying to seem overly excited about meeting a Bajoran, or be to obvious staring at the earing wondering what cultural significance it held.

Cadet Christianson, Security

OOC: My pleasure! One of my cadets is going to take you’re evaluation over. I hope you don’t mind.

IC:
Tija gave him a curt nod and then looked around sickbay for one of her cadets. Spotting Cadet James, she walked over to her and without any sort of greeting she said, “Cadet, I’d like it if you could take care of Cadet Christianson’s boarding evaluation.” As she spoke she pointed at the young officer sitting on the biobed. She then added a small smile, “I’ll be close by in case you have any questions. But I’m sure you’ll do fine.”

IC: Matthew looked over to the other cadet, smiled and waved. “Well hello fellow cadet!”

Cadet Christianson Security

Emily smiled at the CMO and then at Matthew. “Hello indeed. Welcome aboard Cadet Christianson. Cadet James, I’m, I suppose somewhat obviously, one of the ship’s doctors.” She gathered a medical tricorder and began to manoeuvre the wand around. “I’m sure you’re familiar with what I’m doing, but I must say it anyway. Check ins are entirely painless, uninvasive scans.

“I’m used to getting scanned by now, do your worst” Matthew said jokingly as he submitted himself to what would hopefully be the last exam for a while.

IC: “If you want the worst, I’ll get a 23rd century tricorder.”
