Cadet Schweitzer approached the Counselor’s office cautiously. As much as he saw the medical necessity and desirability of the psychological evaluation process, he worried that he would over-share. Schweitzer tended to babble a bit when nervous, and he certainly was nervous. This posting was the next step on a lifetime journey for him, one that felt nearly predestined by his heritage and his famous ancestor and namesake. He did not want a stray nervous comment to impede his progress.

Also, Commander Korczak’s reputation for thoroughness preceded him. He did previously work for Starfleet Security, after all.

Schweitzer took a deep breath and pushed the chime.
