Cadet Flores walks into the sickbay confident to meet his department head and excited

OOC: Welcome aboard, Dominick! This is a good start. There are just two small things you’d want to keep in mind. The first is that we always use past tense when writing in character (IC). And the second one is to always sign your post by adding your characters rank, name and department. You can see how I do it at the end of my post. We do this to make it easier in threads with multiple people in particular to identify who posted what.

IC:
As the doors swished open, the tall, blond Trill who was working at a near by console looked up. Seeing the cadet she walked quickly towards him and said with a warm smile, “You must be one of the new cadets. Welcome aboard! I’m Ensign Yaba Priel, one of the medical technicians on the Challenger.” Looking at the blue of his uniform, she added, “Are you with the medical or the science department?”

As David walks in and sees ensign priel walk up to him he listens to what they have to say after priel ask him if he’s with medical or science department he says “I’m with medical department” he says with a enthusiastic tone
Cadet Flores-doctor

“Welcome to the medical department, Cadet!” NE Priel replied with a broad smile. “While you’ll have to undertake the medical evaluation, I know that Lieutenant Tija prefers to talk to the cadets in her department first. I’ll bring you to her office.” Without waiting for a reply, the Trill lead the way towards the office. Once they were there, she said, “Just press the chime and wait to be called inside.” She then turned around again and with a glance over her shoulder added, “See you later!”
