Nervous and unsure of herself, Alexis steps forward, flinching as the doors open automatically. She chuckles at this. “First day jitters” she presumes as she takes a deep breath and enters the sick bay to begin a new life as a member of the USS Challenger.

OOC: Welcome aboard, Sarah! That’s a really good first post :) There are just two small things to keep in mind: Here at STF we always write in the past tense and we sign our posts. At the sound of the door opening, a tall woman with long blond hair tied back in a French braid, who was working on a computer terminal close to the door, turned around. With a wide and sincere smile she walked towards the other woman and said, “Welcome aboard! You must be one of the new cadets. I hope you had a safe trip here. I’m Ensign Priel, one of the medical technicians on the Challenger. Why don’t you have seat on one of the biobeds, while I’ll get one of the doctors to take care of your medical evaluation?”
