Nijix’s finger tapped the data pad’s surface, scanning through the messages. When she heard the chime, she looked up from her review over the reports and toward the door. She bit her lip a moment then spoke.

“Enter.” Patiently she waited until the Cadet entered before she gestured for the seat across her desk.

“Please, take a seat.”
