Emmy stopped in front of her chair on the bridge and settled back into it, forcing herself to visibly relax as she waited for the outcome of the CE’s efforts.

Nosy continued a moment then nodded to Davis. “You can try, Ma’am,” he reported stepping away from the duty station to allow the CO access to pull up the records if she wanted to try.

‘Well, that would give her something to do,’ Emmy thought to herself as she rocked back onto her feet and made her way over to the console. Her fingers danced across as she entered her access codes and then waited to see if anything else popped up. There was a small twinge of hope, but she fully expected that she would be locked out of the information as well.
