When Anderson came to, she was bound upside down in the middle of the cargo bay, at least she could presume it was a cargo bay. In the center of a lush and verdant room,
growth no doubt spurred by the heat and humidity, was a woman sitting on a makeshift throne made of branches and flowers. She was clad in the tattered remains of an Ensign’s science uniform, her eyes bloodshot red with emerald irises. Her skin was green and covered with fungal fruiting bodies, her hair gave the appearance more of bark with flowers in it than anything else.

As she came to she realised he was upside down and hanging in a cargo bay. Lillian looked around and saw the Jungle had claimed this place. it took a few minutes to notice there was a person in the room with her as it spoke she noted that it was a woman waring what was left of an ensign uniform.

“Who are you,” the woman asked in a soft but firm voice. “Why have you come here?”

So this life form was intelligent after all not just acting.
“I am Cadet Anderson of the USS Challenger, we came here to help the officers and crew of this vessel.” Lillian tried to sound as in control as she could being as to she was upside down and just a little Afraid of what se was seeing.
“we only seek to take them to safety.”
Lillian hoped to open a dialog with the Lifeform that had taken over the Nameless ensign.

“Star fleet,” the plant woman growled back at the cadet. “You foolish children harvested us from the planet then sought to take us away from our homes. Your precious crew-mates are slowly becoming my protectors, part of my forest, and you… you will join them too.”

Shortly there after the woman was distracted by the sound of the vines growing taught and the COS being dragged in as well, eventually being hung upside down next to Anderson. “Two more. Well maybe I can finally break into that room where the captain is holed up and rid this ship once and for all of this infestation.”
