=^= Understood, Commander. I’ve been reviewing the logs. It seems the last survivors from the parasites and poison held out in Sickbay. The source of the growth seems to be the Cargo Bay - but the contents are classified. There’s also mention of a female taking Deck Four, but she is talked about as a threat. Whether this female is still on Deck Four or not, I think we should be cautious no matter what. =^=

Vras thought about his review of the ship’s specs. His antennae curved in reaction as his activated his suit’s communicator again. =^= Oh, and Commander… Deck Four is where the ship’s weapons were kept. =^=

Vras turned to Tavium. “I gather you heard all of that?”

Nijix looked over the Engineer’s shoulder, briefly scanning the logs. Her attention snapped back to the surroundings with her tranquilizer gun ready. The hairs on her neck bristled with energy as she scanned her surroundings. She noted how the log felt like some dark, horrific plot of a movie.

At the question directed to her, she nodded. “I did, but I also read it over your shoulder briefly. Curious to hear what you think.”

Assuming Vras did a quick scan of the sickbay, he found that the sickbay had been shielded. The only way in or out of the fortified position was to either convince the survivors that they were safe or pray that the manual override in the jefferies tube hadn’t been jammed.

Vras looked up from the display he was studying.

=^= Sickbay is heavily shielded, Commander. I can try to see what I can do to restore communication there, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I need get more physical access the the area surrounding Sickbay. I also have a few other suggestions. I’m going to see if there’s any power to divert to internal sensors, which might give us an idea of what else is with us on board the ship. We could also find out what was actually being transported in the cargo containers - but given the level of classification, we may need to access the cargo containers themselves. It would be a lot easier if someone from Starfleet just told us - it’s classified to flag officers only. =^=

Vras thought a moment longer before continuing.

=^= The parasites seem to be feeding off of the ship’s power. I could look into shutting down the all the reactors and emergency generators. But that would mean killing everything else on board. I would want to ensure a dedicated generator for Sickbay’s life support, though, so I would need some time to set that up, Commander. =^=

Vras looked over at Tavium to see if she had anything else to add.
