The cantankerous transporter chief waited at his post, reading a PaDD that likely had the latest report about something, or a novel. Whatever he could get away with which, considering his status was just about anything at this point. He had received notice from the deck that the away team was in bound, most of the same characters as last time. “Try try again,” he had thought to himself as he was setting in the coordinates with a heavy sigh. “Seems like they are going to try and take engineering this time.”

OOC: I’m going to assume Harkness walks quickly. :P
IC:
=/\= Davis to Harkness. Further analysis has shown that the Potterfield crew has only one day worth of supplies remaining. Scans show the situation on the ship has remained unchanged since the last away mission. =/\=

Cadet Grayson Paul walked in, slowly, through the transporter room doors. He was decked out in the heavy looking environmental suit, helmet snapped on and everything locked tight, except for his visor, which was lifted up. He was already sweating as he stopped and looked around the transporter room and took in the cranky man behind the console, “I hope this is the right transporter room. And you’d think, after four hundred years of spaceflight, that we’d have a decent space suit to wear.”
Cadet Paul, Engineer.Nijix arrived shortly afterward. She grabbed an environment suit, hopping into it and secured the seams. The visor was left up so her words could be heard easily. She caught the last bit causing her to chuckle and smile, an attempt to ease the tense atmosphere.
“Yep, it is the right one. Do you want me to check your suit over to ensure it’s airtight? Then you can do the same for me. One small hole or tear could result in being infected.” She didn’t mention she had security on standby to seal off the transporter room. Just in case someone transported them here instead of the sickbay. So far, no one else had been infected but a second mistake like that was pushing the risk.
-Lt. Nijix Tavium, CoS
Lillian had put on her EV suit which she hated but needs must she walk quietly to the transporter room and check the pressure reading on her suit before she left the sickbay deck to insure that it was air tight and that there was no risk to anyone she met along the way.
she also had a medical kit as well as her standard security stuff and the phaser rifle that she still had from Richards chase no seats in returning in she might need it if they encountered any infected crew on the potter field.
she entered the transporter room to see two more suits. it took her a few seconds to work out that one of them was Lt Tavium and the other she assumed was cadet Paul the Engineer that was going too.
“sir” she said and nodded.Lillian Anderson cadet security
=^=Understood Captain. =^= Max said as he walked into the transporter room. He was already decked out in his EV suit, and this time he had his own phaser rifle. They were not going to take any chances. =^=We are going to beam straight to Main Engineering. Lt Tavium will stay with Lt Vras and Cadet Paul while they get the ships systems online. Cadet Anderson and I will try and make contact with any of the remaining crew. Are the sensors able to pinpoint where the next closest group of survivors is to Engineering? =^=
As he waited for the Captain, Max looked around at the assembled team. “Cadet,” he said turning towards Paul. “Is the chief on his way?”

=/\= One moment. =/\=

Keval entered the transporter room at that time, sealing his helmet while talking aloud. “You know, Commander,” Keval said, without a care that everyone was waiting for him, “I’m convinced that every ship that comes out Arbuckle is purposely designed to cause irrational problems for would-be rescuers. Some type of irrationality generator in their ships or something…”
The Andorian looked around at that moment. “Shouldn’t we be heading over there?
-Lt. Keval Vras, CE
The old transporter chief wagged his eyebrows at the cadets before moving behind his console. “When you are all together please keep your hands and feet inside at all times. Don’t do anything stupid as getting you in isn’t the hard part.”
About that time the EV suits’ control module beeped as a map of the Potterfield displayed and two bright lights showed up the first indicating the main engineering, the second showing the sickbay where the survivors were kept. Because the bridge crew were feeling in a particularly helpful mode that moment (Likely out of fear of Davis) there was also a mapped line indicating the fastest path via Jefferies tubes between engineering and the Sickbay.

“Just waiting for some data to come in,” Max said right as the control module beeped. “And there it is. Alright, everyone in your places.”
Max walked over towards the transporter chief and showed him the path they were going to take to sickbay.
“After we beam in, my team is going to head that way. Keep a lock on us, just in case we need a quick escape again Chief.” He patted the chief on the arm before heading to the transporter pad.
Final checks,” he said stepping onto the transporter pad. Max ran one last check of the EV suit, making sure everything was running and it had a positive seal. As everything came back green, he unslung his phaser rifle and turned on the light.
Lillian made here way on to transporter pad and check EV suit stability and made her weapon ready. she took note of the map and look for anyplace that could hide any security issues oolong the way
“Everyone keep a sharp eye out, and let’s get back alive. Energize.”
Cmdr. Harkness - XO
It was then that she felt the dematerialisation sequence start.
