Returning her attention to the two cadets in front of her, Emmy studied them intently again. “Cadet Paul, you noted that it would be trivial to repair the ship upon being granted access to Engineering. Report to Lieutenant Vras, bring up the Potterfield’s specifications, and devise what you can to get power re-established to the rest of the ship. Cadet Ongsteadlea, return to science and support the efforts from there. Dismissed.”

Without waiting for a response, Emmy strode past the two cadets and returned to the bridge, settling herself there as she awaited the updates from her staff.

Davis, CO

Upon his dismissal, Cadet Paul turned, following the Captain out of her office, though turned sharply to the side and returned to the turbolift. “Engineering.”

Grayson thought intently as the lift began it’s journey. Well, that hadn’t been too bad, Grayson thought to himself, The Captain seemed nice, and I’m sure Lieutenant Garth appreciated a little fire, even in a subordinate.

The turbolift continued it’s descent into the ship.

Hearing the turbolift doors close as she made her way to center of the bridge, Emmy sighed in satisfaction as the two cadets scattered to follow her orders. But now it was time for the part she wasn’t good at… waiting. Drumming her fingers on her chair on the bridge, she sat back, acknowledging that she did need to give the various crew members some amount of time before following up on their tasks.
