It would be similar to the cadet’s medical check in that Ril would try and avoid his psychological evaluation. While he dodged sickbay after years of being poked and prodded he avoided the Councilor’s office because he had always had an issue with therapists. While his treatment at the Symbiosis Commission had not been rude or unfair the cadet’s self-confidence had suffered by repeated exploration of his personality to ensure compatibility with a symbiont.
However after six days aboard he had to attend before a complaint was entered so he found himself outside the Councilor’s office for his evaluation at thirteen hundred. The first meeting for new crewmen was always with the chief psychologist as they had to form a report to the Commanding Officer so Kyneln was expecting the generic questions.

The doors would hiss open into the office and the cadet announced himself, “Cadet Kyneln Ril reporting for evaluation.”
