Snip
OOC: I return control of NE Richards to Dave, because I was very rude and hijacked him.

OOC: Bump for Torris and the rest of the people still in the Sick Bay vs those chasing Richards.

GM

OOC: Thank you! I’m not sure if Osten is still in the sickbay, so feel free to correct my vagueness if I’m wrong! :D
IC:

Torrirs held a hand to their neck to stall the bleeding long enough to find the tools to clean and seal the wound. “Bitten by a Cadet, that’ll be something to put in the scrapbook.” They muttered to themself, pulling open a drawer where they last recalled a dermal regenerator to be. They couldn’t yet tell how deep the wound was–considering they hadn’t slowed down since Richards had sunk his teeth into their neck–but they figured the regenerator would do the trick.

Sitting down on the edge of a biobed, as close to Osten as they could manage, they tugged the bedside table to their side, which proved to be messy with a hand held firmly against their neck. From one of its levels, they pulled a cloth and searched for antiseptic. It was often used for smaller injuries, such as cuts or scrapes–anything that could be handled with a cloth and some alcohol, so they hoped they had some on hand.

Finding some, they placed it on the tray, sliding a cloth onto their shoulder which they tried to hold to their neck to keep pressure on the wound while they opened the alcohol. It was turning out to be harder than expected, but it didn’t help that their mind was on Osten, who they tried to watch from the corner of their eye. Focus, Obiah! They mentally scolded themself, applying some of the alcohol to another cloth. Pressing it to their neck, the previous cover peeled from their skin and discarded on the tray, Obiah could not help but flinch at the sting. For several seconds they held it there, hoping it would kill any bacteria that may have been transferred from Richard’s mouth to their body.

Dr. Torrirs

Wiles had previously been approached by two medical NEs from behind as Korczak had distracted him, and as Cadet Osten turned the phaser pistol toward himself in some form of internally-directed rebellion against the infection raging through his body, they pounced. Wiles struggled feverishly as a hypospray was pressed to his neck, knocking him out cold and making the phaser fall to the floor.

Osten was hoisted onto a biobed and adjusted to lie comfortably. He was unconscious for the foreseeable future, and would obviously put up no fight against being used as the medical officers saw fit in their attempts to better understand this biological threat through testing or experimentation. His rest was fitful at times, but otherwise uneventful.

(Wiles Osten, Security Cadet)

The wound on Torris neck closed with just a little pinkness from the new skin growth and Osten, poor guy, is as he said, comfortable on the bed.

OOC: Bump

Torrirs huffed, stuffing the devices back where they belonged. D-mn cadet, they subconsciously rubbed their neck, could have given me his infection. They knew Richards wasn’t to blame, his psyche was warped by the pathogen, but that didn’t hinder the irritation slowly building in their chest.

“Cadet Scott!” Obiah called out, masking their annoyance with forbearance as not to punish Oliver for vexation that wasn’t a mark of his influence.

Dr. Torrirs

The cadet popped his head out from around the corner where he had been lost in a medical journal. He surveyed the scene quickly, his eyes widening slightly at the chaos before him. Seeing the doctor standing in the middle of all this, he quickly rushed over to them.

“I’m so sorry doctor,” he said, his face flushed slightly with the embarrassment of having been oblivious to whatever had happened here, “Do you need some assistance?”

His eyes turned to the cadet laying on the bed unconscious. This certainly seemed to have potential to become one of those interesting situations he had asked the doctor about during his boarding physical.
