Meredith leant against a console in main engineering, a large steaming cup of tea and plate of biscuits beside her. She was reviewing the data from the recent away team mission when a thought struck her.

=^= Computer, download all specifications, deck plans, and records relating to the USS Potterfield to this station. =^=

As the data began scrolling across the screen, she thumbed her commbadge.

=^= Cadet Paul, report to main engineering. =^=

Grayson stopped mid-scan as the Lieutenant’s voice streamed from his commbadge. The power cells of the hand-held phasers in the armory were holding charge, and other routine maintenance seemed to be well in order. He put the item down and tapped his commbadge:
=^= On my way. =^=

He quickly finished securing the weapons and timed out, taking one last glance behind him to ensure he hadn’t left anything out and left the armory. He exchanged nods with the security officer standing post as he left and walked down the corridor, tool kit in hand. The doors to the turbolift opened almost silently, admitting him. “Deck 5.”

He hummed a quiet melody to himself as the lift rose to the appropriate level and opened. Grayson stepped out, turned left and entered Main Engineering. He stopped momentarily, found the Lieutenant, and made straight for her location, presenting himself before her console. “You wanted to see me, L.T.?”
