To his surprise, instead of someone telling him to come in, the door just slid open. He assumed that it meant that he could come in, so he just strolled in. He was in awe of what he saw. It did not seem like a typical office for a Star Fleet officer. He figured it was probably for the comfort of his patients. There were even actual books, and he noticed that some of them were not in the Star Fleet standard. Either the person who uses this office knows many languages or these were there for his patients. Either one would make sense.

After taking a quick look around, he approached the desk. He stopped a few inches in front of the desk and regarded the person sitting behind the desk. He was a plain human man, so he was not much to look at.

“Hello, cadet. May I help you?” he said startling him. It was then that he noticed the lieutenant commander pips on his uniform. He immediately snapped to attention.

“Yes sir, ” he replied. ” I have come for my on board psychological evaluation, sir. “

OOC: Hello! Ok, I need some help from you here, and maybe we can work together to make sure you are good to go with navigating the threads (Trust me, I know it can be a pain in the beginning! lol) So with that, I have a few questions / comments.

Is this a response to a previous thread? If so, we need to move back to the original thread. I can help with that if you need some assistance. I’ll look and see if I can find the original, and if I do I will move your response over to it. We do that so the board doesn’t get cluttered and things flow more smoothly from post to post. If I find an original post, I will respond IC there.

Be careful when you are interacting with other player’s characters. We do not allow for one player to write for another player’s character. So in this post when you wrote what the Counselor said, that is frowned upon in the Main Fleet. Here, it is a good learning opportunity! Even if the other player you are writing with did say what you wrote, it’s best to just write for your character and leave the actions of others to their writer.
