Not long after his tense first meeting with Captain Foley, Toby headed towards Sickbay for his boarding physical and general check up. He was disappointed that the Captain ha reacted the way he had, it was unnecessary. They didn’t have to be at odds, they were all working for the same organisation after all. He sighed and rubbed his forehead as he made his way through the corridors. He smiled at passers by as he went. The Captain might not like him, but he was going to be damned sure that the crew did.

It didn’t take long for Toby to walk through the Sickbay doors. He smiled at the Cadets and the support staff. He walked over to a nurse who didn’t look too busy.
“Hi there, I’m here for my boarding check up?” He asked with a warm smile. The nurse nodded and scurried away to find a Doctor.

Lt. Ilena Rox appeared a moment later. She was shadowed by a beautiful gold and white husky. “Hello Commander. Welcome to the Challenger. I’m guessing you are our new XO? I’m Lt Rox, the CMO. Right this way,” she smiled easily and leg him towards an open biobed.

Toby smiled at Rox and followed here to the biobed.
“Oh no Doctor, actually I’m here from Starfleet Intelligence. My appointment here should only be temporary. Thank you for the welcome though. So far I’ve been met with indifference at best and outward hostility at worst.” He sighed as he sat on the bio bed, his blue antennae wiggling.
