Two NE’s sat waiting for the rest of the time to show at the Air lock, “things are bad down in engineering” erica said “It is I hope they get things under control. Any idea why Commander Th’kylret has called us” Eric asked. Erica shrugged as she checked her phaser to ensure it was on stun.

Toby entered the turbolift on the bridge.
“Deck 5.” He stated and then waited, he bounced on his feet impatiently as he waited. He was keen to find out where their Chief Medical Officer had gone (OOC: assuming we know she’s gone). Moments later the doors opened and he strode straight for the airlock. He hoped to see some cadets waiting for him. It would give him a chance to asses their quality and to maybe make some recommendations to Starfleet Intelligence after the mission was over. He pulled out his phaser and a tricorder as he approached the airlock and he smiled at the two Ensign’s.
“Eric, Erica. Thank you for meeting me here. I think we’ll give it a couple more minutes and then make a start scanning the area.” He stated.

A few moments went by and Toby sighed, it seemed like know one was coming.
“Just us then. Let’s get scanning.” A security Cadet nodded, opened the tricorder and began to scan the area.

Scan’s locked on to her instantly. She was approximately 1705 meter 10 degrees up nearly 75 decks up and nearly .. The area outside the airlock was breathable and there were no life signs on the other side.

“Uhhhh, Sir. The Dr is on the other side of the airlock, about 75 decks up, nearby.” The cadet relayed the results of the scan. Toby raised an eyebrow.
“Well then, let’s go get the good Doctor shall we?” He asked with a smile and entered the airlock and prepared himself mentally for what he was going to find on the other side. He pushed his comm badge as an afterthought =^= Atob to Foley, we’re entering the airlock now Captain, the Doctor is on the other side, about 75 decks up. We’ll be in touch with an update. As they stepped through the airlock the sound of power flowing through conduits buzzed through the air. Bright white and blue light filled a long hall that appeared to go on for ever but did not it split 15 meters ahead into 3 directions. There was nothing there to great them just fresh air that felt like they were stepping onto a planet

“Where are we? What kind of ship is this?” He muttered to himself looking around. He breathed and looked over at the cadets.
“Let’s get scanning, see if we can’t locate the good Doctor. Phasers at the ready too, can’t be too careful.” The cadets nodded as Toby began to scan the area.

Ilena’s scan’s were clear as day, seventy five decks up and around 1700 meters on the vertial at or about 45 degrees. First priority would seem to be finding some sort lift.

Toby sighed as he looked around squinting his eyes slightly as he did so. He looked around trying to see if there was anything obvious that would point towards a lift or any buildings.

As if on que yellow lights started trailing off down the very long hallway. It was very clear that they were going to get thier ten thousand steps in today. Soon they were standing in front of what appeared to be a lift.

Toby smiled when he saw the lift.
“Aha! That’s more like it. Let’s see where this takes us.”
“Up, hopefully.” A cadet mumbled, Toby turned and looked at him.
“Sorry Cadet?” He said innocently but with a knowing look, the Cadet looked away.
“Nothing Sir.” He replied and Toby nodded.
“Now, let’s look around for a button, anything to open the lift doors.” He stated and they looked on the wall seeing if there was anything obvious.

IC: Chris was part of the security detail for the away team , he had remained quiet with his phaser at the ready keeping his head on the swivel , he knew it was part of his job to protect the XO and the rest of the away team, anything else he would wait for orders by the XO afterall he was just a cadet.

The lifts screamed along quickly as they moved to find the good doctor. When the doors opened the smell for fresh air hit them in a whirl of pollen and mist. Giant alien trees loomed before them.

Chris looked at the new surroundings they found themselves in

“Woah what is this place?, some kind of arboretum perhaps?”

He said wide eyed as if this was the first time he had seen a tree , which really wasn’t that far from the truth as he was only 20 , spent most of his time in one class or the other.

OOC: The dome is very large, around 1700 meters in diameter there is a lake in the middle, lots of animals and things.

Chris decided to make a scan, phaser in one hand , tricorder in the other, a few seconds later he had the results

“Sir, we appear to be in a very large dome, approximately seventeen hundred meters in diameter , with a lake in the middle and a bunch of flora and fauna”

He said to the XO, now putting away his tricorder

Toby was also wide eyed, but prevented himself from an outburst. Instead he raised an eyebrow and his antennae twitched. He looked at Chris noting the tricorder.
“Keep that tricorder to hand Cadet. Scan the area, let’s find the good Doctor. Hopefully she’s here somewhere.” He stated looking around the area with suspicion.
