Commander Atob Th’kylret sat on his shuttle and waited to be transported over to the Challenger. He preferred using a shuttle to beaming directly over to the ship. He liked to look at the stars. It also gave him time to think. He looked over the PADD and tapped his foot, pondering over his assignment. Why the Challenger and why now? He thought to himself and scratched his chin. He knew there was already a full compliment of Senior staff on the ship and, given his background, suspicions would be raised immediately as to his presence on the ship. He sighed and his antennae wiggled. Completely lost to his thoughts time went quickly and the shuttle docked with the Challenger. He placed the PADD in his duffle bag, picked it up, stood, thanked the pilot and left the shuttle. He breathed in and smiled slightly as he stepped onto the ship and made his way straight to the Captain’s Office. It wasn’t long till he stepped onto the bridge, ignoring the entire bridge crew he walked over to the ready room. He pressed the chime and waited patiently.

“Enter!” Aaron called from where he stood in the middle of a holo representation of a stellar nursery. He had a large PADD in his hand and was taking notes as he move through the holo.

Looking up from his notes, Aaron noticed the Andorian standing in the doorway as it slid open.

“Commander Th’kylret I presume.” Aaron moved over to his desk where with a few taps he dismissed the holo. “I hope your trip to the Challenger was uneventful.”
