This ship began to move backwards as helm executed the command, it was slower than normal due to the stress already on the inertial dampeners. Everyone on the ship felt the tug causing them to stabilize themselves.
And then a blue vortex opened, swirling blues and white violently ripped through subspace forming a massive five thousand meter hole in space time, less than two thousand meters in front of the ship. With extreme speed the largest vessel anyone had ever seen shot out of the tunnel with blinding speed.
NE Tompson tried to veer the ship away but it was too late “Sir, it’s right , Brace!!!” was all he could get out of his mouth.
The Aliens vessel dorsal side struck the front of the ship sending everyone not in a chair to the ground, knocking the ship downard with great force. Sparks flew around the bridge as the the vessels collided again and again the power conduits and shields failing, sending the Challenger into a downward spin, as power to the bridge flickered on and off in protest.
With one last strike on the port nacelle, the Challenger and her crew reversed direction violently, sending her into a three axis spin, and the bridge glowed red under auxiliary lighting, the gravity now pulling on them making it hard to move as the ship’s computer tried to restabilize the ship.

LT Cmdr Dr Lanna T’SaiViveca held onto the armrests of her chair, barely managing to stay in her seat before the force of gravity actually held her down. She looked around the bridge to see if anyone needed her assistance, either as a counselor or as a medic, given the violent upheaval that just occurred.
~Viveca Arlander~
Viveca’s eyes scaned the dark bridge, the red alart still blairing loudly in her ears. Then she saw her, Lanna layed on the floor her leg twisted unnaturally a small pool of blood was forming under her head and growing larger.
Mr Centauri GM extraordinaire
LT Cmdr Dr Lanna T’Sai=^=Arlander to Sickbay, medical emergency on the bridge,=^= She tapped her badge, grabbed a med kit from one the stowed locations she’d memorized when she was assigned to the Challenger, and carefully made her way over to Lanna, still feeling the aftereffects of the upset as well as the continued efforts of the ship’s computer to stabilize things. The lighting wasn’t the best, but she could at least start assessing people while medical worked through the ship as she was sure they weren’t the only deck with injuries.
=/\=Aknowleged Arlander. Neddleberg in route. Sickbay out.=/\=
“Is anyone else hurt!?” She called out while she pulled out a tricorder to run over Lanna, focusing first on the source of the blood, if she could slow it or stop it, then she could assess her leg injury.
~Viveca Arlander~
Lanna was breathing but it was shallow and labored, her head was beeding baddly though it was not pulsing just leaking out on the deck.
Mr Centauri GM extraordinaire
LT Cmdr Dr Lanna T’SaiAs the ship slowly started to stabilize again, Aaron pulled himself back up into his seat. His side hurt from where he was thrown into the armrest, but compared to some of the other crew on the bridge, he appeared to get off lucky.
=^=All decks report!=^= he called out tapping the comm panel. =^=Engineering, tell me how bad it is.=^=
He looked around the bridge back towards tactical. “Did someone get the plate of that ship?”
Capt Foley - CO
Demil fought his way back to his feet from the deck next to his console. One arm was bleeding slightly where it had scraped along the wall as the ship was tossed about, but overall the CSO was in much better shape than T’Sai or a few of the other fallen crew.
=/\= “Deck 5 Lab,” reported a cadet’s voice a few moments later, “we probably lost most of the ongoing experiments but no major injuries.” =/\=
Lieutenant Demil Lis
Chief Science Officer“Shields at 83%, recommend we increase speed if possible.”
-Lieutenant Zunara: Chief of Security-
=/\=Sickbay standing by Captain. We’re looking for a safe place to open triage.=/\= Rox replied over the comms.
Lt. Rox, Chief Medical Officer
=^=Find something quick Lieutenant, your going to need the space unfortunately.=^=

Viveca busied herself with stopping the blood from leaking from Lt. T’Sai, she was limited by the confines of the med kit of course, but she could likely stem the bleeding since the blood wasn’t pulsing out, she leaned in to see if she could identify how deep the wound went, head wounds always bled far worse than other injuries. She kept an eye on her vitals as well, the last thing she needed was a crash here on the bridge floor.“Captain, if I’m not needed here once medical comes to collect Lt. T’Sai, I can give Doctor Rox another set of hands down there, still a fully qualified and licensed physician afterall.”
~Viveca Arlander~
“Go. They are going to need all the help they can get.”
“Yes sir,” Viveca nodded briefly, turning her attention back to the striken Lt.
It was deep, as she patted the blood away she could see it was deep but the skull seemed to do it’s job, vitals were stressed but stable.
“Well that’s promising,” she spoke quietly as she set to work patching the wound with the med kit equipment, hopefully T’Sai wouldn’t have too much a headache when she woke up. Once she was satisfied with her wound work, she took a look at the leg.
Her leg was twisted in a way that it should not be, the knee was dislocated. tricorder scan would reveal a large crack in her left femur, the break damaged some surounding thigh muscle but had not made it through the skin.
Viveca double checked her scans to make sure the femur hadn’t ruptured any major blood vessels, the Lieutenant was going to need sickbay soon as her med kit could only do so much with an injury like that.
With that another rummble in the ship was felt on the bridge, shields were now droping, they were at 25% and falling rapidly.
Mr Centauri GM extraordinaire
“Helm, any chance on getting us some more space in case something else comes through?”
Capt Foley - CO
The Helmsman was trying everything to get the ship moving that was possible, “Sir all forms of propulsion are offline,” the NE called out.
Shields are at 15% now and failing, Engineering is reporting major power relays down through out the ship, they are rerouting, estimated time till thrusters is 15min, impulse is 2 hours out best guess.

“We are damn near dead in the water out here!” Zunara called out, nerves rising in his voice.
-Lieutenant Zunara: Chief of Security-
“Calm yourself Lieutenant, we aren’t out of this yet,” Aaron said, though he felt anything but calm inside. There were too many questions left about what was going on, and not enough answers.
And with that the ships computer reported the shields at 0% they were now addrift in a slow tumble with not eyes, and no shields. As reality began to sink into the crew, the computer returned some good news. “External Sensors online” the computer called out over the bridge.
Mr Centauri GM extraordinaire
Demil threw the forward sensor view on the viewscreen and a rear view on his own console, overlaying analyses of any radiation or exotic particles detected.
Lieutenant Demil Lis
Chief Science OfficerViveca kept one ear trained on the officers doing work around her, curious as to what their situation was, but continued to focus on stabilizing Lt. T’Sai.
~Viveca Arlander~
“What do you see out there Mr. Lis. I need to know what we are dealing with.”
Capt Foley - CO
As the screen flickered to life what filled the screen was shocking, where the conduit had been now stood a ship so large that the challenger could easily fit inside it. The computer was reporting a length of 3000 meters, 1300 meters wide and nearly 80 decks high. It was long and slender with a large dome in the middle of it, it appeared to be slowing and turning back toward the Challenger, no weapons could be detected but the sensors could not seem to penetrate the hull.Mr Centauri GM extraordinaire
Aaron stared at the screen as it came to life showing the massive ship. As large as it was, he was actually shocked that the Challenger was still in one piece.
The door slid open to the Main Bridge. “Sir, Cadet Denali Neddleberg, reporting as directed.”
“Take your pick Cadet,” Aaron said not looking away from the screen.
He looked to ascertain the work that needed to be done. Denali had never experienced this much trauma at one time. There would surely be worse to experience so he just had to be ready to do whatever was needed. He came to the first wounded person and examined them with the med kit.
He pulled out his medical tricorder and began to determine how extensive the damage could be. “Just lie still here. We dont need you to move and cause more damage to your systems. You are alright, I am here with you.”
Cadet Denali Neddleberg, Doctor
Mr Centauri GM extraordinaire
“Cadet, when you have a moment over here,” Viveca called, “Lt. T’Sai is injured and unconscious, I recommend we get her down to sickbay, but I have her stable for now.”
~Viveca Arlander~
“Understood.” Denali prepared to take Lt. T’Sai to sickbay maing sure they didn’t endure more injury.
”==^== Cadet Neddleberg to Sickbay. One injured and unconscious incoming. Please be ready. ==^==”
Cadet Neddleberg, Doctor
“Alright, tell me what you can about that ship out there,” Aaron said to no one in particular. He didn’t recognize the design himself, but the scientist in him was intrigued. He wanted to know who would have built such a massive ship, and what were they doing out here. From his standpoint, a ship of that size usually was a colony ship.
