John walked into sickbay welling to help. He looked around to see if the CMO was there. Maybe file papers or retrieve supplies from the cargo hold maybe even rearrange some boxes.

Lt Rox walked out of the small office, PaDD in hand, the large dog following along beside her. She paused and looked up. “Cadet Forster. What can we do for you today?”

Lt. Rox, Chief Medical Officer

John looked at her “ hey I am not doing anything at the moment can I help out in here” he asked looking around

Cadet John Forster (Security)

Rox looked around, “Well, we’re running diagnostics on all the equipment at the moment. Do you think you can run those on that set of tricorders on the table over there?”

Lt. Rox, Chief Medical Officer

John smiled and said “ i sure can” he walk over to the table and started his task. “So who was you favorite teacher in the academy” he ask to help pass the time

IC: “Hmmm, that would have been Cmdr Kevlain.” Rox smiled, “He is retired now though. The way he explained diagnostics always stuck with me. What about yourself, Cadet?”

John looked at her and said “Lt. Daniels he was my earth History professor. He was fun and a good professor he pushed me in that class a lot my final paper for the class was the only one to get an A on”
Then the tricorder in his hand beeped with the sound of the diagnostic almost completed.

“Did you ever consider focusing on history and archeology?” Rox asked as she went about her duties.

John started the other Tricorder “ I do but only as a hobby. Security is what I wanna do. It is what I am the best at” he said “ my father wanted me to go into medical. It’s like he did and my two other brothers when I was five years old I learned how repair a broken bone. I was brought up in a medical sense, but when I was 10, my mother, divorced, my father and I left with her. It was a good feeling not having my future made out for me so when I got into the academy, I fished around a little bit and I felt like tactical and security was the best fit for me. My mother got a job as security on a UEG vessel”
He said sounding a little sad about his mother.
