With a little bit of downtime before the next mission got started, Viveca decided it was a good time to thoroughly review the files on the crew and see if anyone might be due for another chat with her. She also wanted to make sure she had availability for any new members who needed to check in as well, but she often found the existing crew were the least likely to actively seek her out without a little bit of a nudge.

Pulling up the files, she began making notes on the last psych eval of everyone, so she could start sending friendly reminders that it was time to check in.

Everyone was busy with their jobs on the ship, so she didn’t fault them for neglecting it.

Cadet John Forster entered the office and looked confused “this is not the mess Hall is it” he said as he was about to turn around “ do you think you can show me the way I just got off the shuttle a few hours ago”
He asked glancing back at her

“No, Cadet, this isn’t the messhall,” Viveca replied kindly, “I am currently on duty, so if you’re comfortable, I can show you how the computer can guide you to the messhall, as I can’t exactly step away from my office for the time being.”
