Vincent walked slowly through the now-quiet medical bay, his hands resting casually behind his back. The soft hum of the ship’s systems filled the space, a stark contrast to the chaos that had just subsided with the recent churn of cadets and crew. The once-busy atmosphere of hurried examinations, frantic check-ins, and final clearances had given way to a calm that felt almost foreign after the hectic days behind them.He paused near one of the diagnostic stations, idly inspecting a bio-scanner that had seen constant use during the last mission. The mission itself had been trying—a scramble to address medical emergencies while dealing with the unknown dangers of an unfamiliar region of space. There had been injuries, close calls, and a sense of uncertainty that had hung over the crew like a cloud. Yet, as always, they had come through. The cadets had performed well, some showing promise, while others had revealed areas for growth.
Vincent’s gaze drifted across the bay, taking in the empty biobeds and neatly organised medical equipment. His mind wandered to the next mission. What would it bring? Exploration? Diplomacy? Or another unforeseen disaster that would put his staff to the test once more? He found himself hoping for a calmer assignment this time, though he knew better than to expect it. Life aboard the Challenger rarely afforded such luxuries.
As he moved toward his office, lost in thought, the soft hiss of the door opening behind him caught his attention. Vincent stopped and turned, curiosity piqued, as he watched a figure step into the medbay.

Time zone: GMT0 | UKThe person who entered sickbay was Cadet John Forster he had puzzled face as he said “sorry sir I am Cadet Forster I just got on board and need my blading physical” he said. This cadet was 5’11 with short dirty blonde hair and gray and green eyes. His body was fit and slim he had a par of glasses on also.

A woman, mid to late 30s, walked out of the CMO office. She spoke quietly to Yancy and then moved toward the cadet. She had curly more brown than auburn hair to her shoulders. In the lights of the medical bay and the bounce of the curls, the auburn highlights made her hair seem to have flickers of fire.
Her direct all black gaze marked her as Betazoid. Over her medical uniform was a lab coat. The other most significant thing about her was a large white and tan Siberian Husky at her side. It wore a vest that said Service Dog. I am working, please don’t distract me.
“Welcome to the medical bay Cadet Forester. I’m Dr. Rox the new Chief Medical Officer. Right this way and we will get you settled.” She motioned to a biobed for him to occupy while she turned it on to start taking his vitals. “How was your trip out?”
OOC: This is your opportunity to make bote of what your characters base line vitals are, or any irregularities there might be. Examples might be heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, blood oxygen levels, cardio vascular rhythms, neurological rhythms, etc. They can be normal or you can choose to have them be off.
Lt. Rox, Chief Medical Officer
OCC: let’s say his vitals show him very, very fit with O+ blood. According to his records, his appendix ruptured when he was 16 years old during a martial arts contest (a Klingon did an illegal blow) but still won. His last name is the same as a family of doctors. His mom and him were the black sheep of the family But he can be used as a combat medic.
John got onto the bio bed and let it take his vitals as his medical records popped up. He started to relax his body 3 days in a packed shuttle was not a good trip. His eyes closed and he started to take a small nap

Ilena smirked slightly as the young Cadet began to doze off. It was so many years ago for her now, but she remembered how exhausted she was her first night of her Cadet tour. All the excitement had worn off on the trip out, to be replaced by worry, doubt, and still feeling like a kid. Totally exhausting.
She finished her scans and compared them to his last physical at the Academy. (OOC: any differences?)
Lt. Rox, Chief Medical Officer
OCC: not nothing but he now has no appendix.
John was asleep and was having a nightmare about the last time he saw his mother and the nightmare made his pulse speed up.
