The ship shook and the ship went to red alert. The lights stayed on, and though parts of Deck 6 was not too far from the issues on Deck 5, so far it seemed okay.

She ran a hand over her mussed blue hair as it fell over her shoulders and hurried out into the corridor. Typically, civilians were supposed to go to quarters in an emergency so they weren’t in the way, but Demara was, one, not your typical civilian, and two, already dealing with an issue.

The fairly tall Human-appearing woman moved gracefully down the corridor, her long shimmery-pewter dress stretching with her body as she pciked up speed. Past some of the crew quarters, Aryal spotted a cadet in the hall. Blue uniform. “Hey, cadet! Are you medical?” she called out.
