Catt sneezed again as she had on exiting sickbay.. she knew it was nerves as so far her tirst day had required her to expose her past history in a manner she would of prefered not to have done.

She reatranged the blue turtle neck tunic so that it showed out from under the red over jacket with its cadet markings. Technicslly she had the right to wear ensign markings but she wouldnt presume to do so till after her cadet cruise and she had earned them as more than an acting ensign rank.

Many of the cadets had of course changed their rank ensignia the moment they tecieved their passing grades. But to Catt’s thinking the real last exam was the cadet cruise itself.

She headed for the crew deck. Getting strange stares from some of the crew. Her small stature, her thin frame and large eyes would make her look like a first year cadet. She had already been adked on boarding if she was lost. Just like at the academy . She thought with amusement. Only it shouldnt be amusing to her. She would never look like anything but a kitten to anyone she met.

The older style uniform didnt really make her look like she fit in either. But the skin tight uniforms presently in style just weren’t made for a Caitan and her long white fur was unusual even for her specie.

her padd chimed. It was a message from the ships councelor. She haf been hoping to rest and showrr before any more meetings. But she was jusy outside his door by some twist of fate.

After the meeting with the councelor was done she exited. Looking a great deal like a distressed kitten and sneezed again. This time she didnt stop to groom or fuss. She dashed into the turbolift clutching her padd tightly as if for dear life. Maybe there wad a carreer in the merchant marine she thought as she ducked into her shared accomidations. Tossed her padd on her assigned bunk and nearly flung herself into the sonic shower.The beeping notification to go to the science Station beeped so far unhèeded.
