Phylax stood outside of the door that lead to the Holodeck. He looked on at the panel beside the door Phylax looked thoughtful. He seemed to be running through a list of programs and simulations, his face showed his thoughtful concern as he tried to make a decision.

“Ah Doctor, getting a bit of r and r in?” Aaron said as he walked up. “I’ve got a bit of downtime myself so I figured it would be the perfect time to stop by and see if there was an open holodeck myself.”

Capt Foley - CO

Phylax turned and looked before smiling at the Captain. “Ah Captain, I am not sure what to do with the time. Originally I had thought about some harmless study of the physiology of some of the animals and creatures of the universe. Or something. But I also don’t know… hince I’ve been looking at a summary of some of the programs already made.” He explained with a small chuckle

Aaron raised an eyebrow, “Not exactly my usual form of recreational entertainment. Personally I like to take the time to step away from the academic, and get a chance to focus on something different. I was looking to partake in a recently released holonovel. It is about some mysterious events happening on the Mars colony.”

After a moments pause Aaron looked back over at Phylax. “Was there a particular reason why you were wanting to study the physiology of animals?”

Phylox looks thoughtful a minute. “Hunh that sounds interesting. Well, If you dont mind then could I join you in that? I didnt have much else to do. And I am use to study and learning. To me it is fun and what I enjoy to do. Besides who knows my study today may help save the life of a species we know little of that has the similar physiology of another creature.”
